Erik Larson, DPT

Erik Larson, DPT is committed to providing the best quality of care for his patients. As clinic director, his goal is for the team to not only meet their patients’ expectations, but exceed them. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences in 2008 and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011 from the College of St. Scholastica. Following his education, he worked in and managed a variety of settings including skilled nursing facilities, sub-acute rehab and outpatient physical therapy clinics. Being a native of Washburn County, he returned from Black River Falls, WI to diversify new ways to better meet our community's needs.

Although Erik holds experience in a vast amount of treatment specializations including sports injuries and orthopedic rehabilitation, his passion lies in Postural Restoration. Erik believes that a person’s pelvis drives everything else in the body and therefore needs to be a solid foundation. Erik holds experience with pediatric rehabilitation and treating torticollis, a condition where the neck twists and the head becomes tilted. Erik also has a high interest in Wound Care, assisting patients who have recently undergone surgery, suffer from traumatic injuries, or have chronic skin ulcers. Erik believes that along with rehabilitation, communicating and educating patients on their ailments leads to superior outcomes.
