Hayward, WI (March 5, 2014) – Although the weather may be cold and dreary outside, the environment at Hayward Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists (Hayward PTRS) is warm and bubbling with excitement. The team at Hayward PTRS is proud to celebrate their 4th year anniversary in serving the Hayward community. Centered on the values of service, teamwork, education, integrity and commitment, the staff at Hayward PTRS is dedicated to providing patients with an exceptional guest experience.

For 4 years, the practice’s proven track-record of positive patient experiences has been paramount to its success. The practice offers patients one-on-one care with the same physical therapist at every visit, and a personalized “road map to recovery,” ensuring that treatment goals meet patients’ desires and needs. In addition, since the clinic’s grand opening, the staff has dedicated themselves to continuing education to ensure they can meet all the needs of the community. The team has attended ongoing training to further enhance their industrial rehabilitation specialty, allowing them to return injured workers back to employment quickly and safely. The team also continues to hold a strong focus on sports injuries, helping injured athletes get back into the game and avoid re-injury.

The clinic is dedicated to providing their community with the best possible service and offers a friendly and family-oriented atmosphere. Local Clinic Operator and Director, Al Bowman, DPT, is excited to celebrate the clinic’s 4th anniversary. “When I came to Hayward 4 years ago to start Hayward PTRS, I didn’t know a single person. Now the clinic is bursting with returning patients who have had good outcomes and new patients who have been referred by others,” stated Bowman. All individuals in the clinic make it a personal goal to continue their training to ensure they are able to provide the most up-to-date treatment methods. “Over the past 16 years, I have pursued extensive continuing education which translates to expertise, in sports medicine, spine, manual, industrial, orthopedic, and vestibular [(balance and dizziness)] rehab. I thoroughly enjoy providing physical therapy to the Hayward community!” continued Bowman. The clinic has plans to continue furthering their education and expand their services in the near future, including welcoming a new physical therapist, Erik Larson, DPT, on board and offering wound care services beginning in April 2014.

Hayward PTRS is part of a network of locally owned-and-operated physical therapy clinics in Northern Wisconsin. The practice is a satellite office of Rice Lake Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists, with additional locations in Turtle Lake, Clear Lake, Rice Lake and Spooner. Specializing in sports injuries, industrial medicine, injury prevention education, pre/post operative, and vestibular and balance services, the staff prides themselves on providing the best quality treatment and care to their patients.
