Ergonomic Assessments

Ergonomics is the science of fitting jobs to people with the goal of reducing or eliminating the potential for work-related injuries. Workplace risk factors for employees, such as sustained or repeated exertions or awkward postures can result in lowered productivity, increased medical costs, increased employee absences, and workers’ compensation claims. Our therapists have received educational training and certification in ergonomics to be able to assess our workers’ compensation clients on how to safely perform their job requirements within their work space to prevent [re-]injury.
